Made to Order
Our made-to-order and made-to-measure range combines the best of British design and manufacturing techniques with the finest fabrics from around the world.
Each style is available either through our made-to-measure service, where you will be able to select your own fabric, lining and buttons, the block pattern is altered to your measurements and a fitting is had before the garment is finished. With our made-to-order service, you will be able to select your cloth, lining and buttons, however no changes will be made to the pattern and the garment will be fitted on completion.
Each piece is handmade in a small atelier in London with decades of experience. Designed and made for longevity, we believe that clothes should be able to be loved and worn year after year. The focus of our design is to offer styles that are timeless and fundamentally without season, combined with beautiful cloth that we source exclusively from the world's leading mills and small independent merchants and weavers.
Each style can be made up in any cloth of your choosing, making your piece one of a kind.
Step 1 – Book a personal appointment or a phone consultation
We operate by personal appointment at our London studio. Alternatively we are happy to discuss our styles and fabric options with you on the phone and send swatches to you at home.
Step 2 – Design and fabric selection
With a wide range of the finest european and British fabrics and many design options, we are here to give you the best possible advice to ensure you look and feel your best. At your initial consultation whether in person or on the phone, we will talk you through the style or styles you are interested in, determining which would be best suited to your needs. We then help you decide which fabric would be the ideal choice and then take your measurements.
Each made-to-order or made-to-measure piece is cut from block patterns expertly developed in house. We then alter the patterns as required by your measurements to create a garment tailored to you.
Step 3 – Fitting
For our MTM service we would arrange to see you for a fitting after 4-6 weeks, where the garment would be partially constructed, with buttons and lining still to go in. We would review the garment and see what adjustments may be needed to the fit, with it then being returned to our atelier to be completed, with a final fitting on completion to check for any final tweaks.
If having opted for our MTO service we would see you for a fitting once your style is completed to check if there are any tweaks to be made, such as sleeve length and trouser length. With the style ready to go home with you if no changes are to be made.
Each piece takes approximately 6-8 weeks to complete. The price indicated on the online shop is for a made-to-order service, with the made-to-measure price being calculated after the consultation.
We take orders by personal appointment, by telephone consultation, by email or via our online shop.
